Spent two nights in a quiet and tastefully / modern furnished room on the ground floor of the guest house. Extremely nice and courteous owners. Highly recommended!
Nice staff, clean room, delicious food. To recommend!!!
Insanely delicious! The meat is perfect, but the potatoes are also very, very tasty. Apparently, in addition to great preparation, there is also a very tasty variety of potato. Even the children's fries were very tasty. So not only is the preparation great, but also the ingredients. We didn't even find the children's ice cream scoops on the bill later ?? The service was very courteous and very friendly. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
Good accommodation, nice hosts, very good food
Very nice courteous staff. Lovely. Rooms with bathroom and TV in the newly renovated separate guest house. Delicious food around restaurant. Free WiFi.
Great room in the guest house. A nice accommodation with great recreational value. And outside blinds to sleep in.
The food was very good. I had a Jägerschnitzel and that was the best I have ever eaten. Good food, drink and service. Just to be recommended 👍
The meal was excellent. The salad is delicious. The whole family was very satisfied and can only recommend it.
We celebrated baptism there today. Super nice service and delicious food! Price / performance absolutely top! Very nice and competent owner! We felt very comfortable and spent a few nice hours there. Hygiene and corona rules are observed very well. Bottom line: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍🙂
Cozy guest house with great service. Very good food, large selection of regional cuisine. The beef steak was fried to the point and the taste was a dream I would love to come back
The 4.5 stars are absolutely justified. This applies to the food, the rooms and the friendly service. Despite Corona, the greatest effort is made to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay.
The rooms are large and bright. They are tastefully decorated. The bathroom is modern and spacious. The owners are very nice and accommodating. About the restaurant: It is rustic but also modern. The menu, in times of Corona, is impressive. The food is plentiful and very tasty. The staff is not pushy but very friendly. I can only recommend this country inn.
2019.07. TLDR: THE best cheap hotel I've ever been in. I stayed in a small, freshly renovated (exterior not quite finished yet, the work started well after I woke up) "guest house" ~100 m south from the main building. And I was very pleasantly surprised. This might be a **/*** standard hotel, but I felt like in a *****. Well, when the "rural guest house" has been around for almost 300 years, the hosts must be exceptionally good. The staff was friendly, helpful swift and unobtrusive. At least one person speaks very good English. I stayed for one night. The bed was long (~2 m) and pleasantly hard (there was also a sofa, so probably rooms are 2+1). The only indication that it was not a brand new hotel was that the bed cover blanket has been washed before (and old exterior of the main building of course). The furniture smelled brand new and still had spare screws and leftover instruction booklet in the drawer. The android smart TV was a recent model. It wasn't unnecessarily blocked (ie. was not in a hotel mode - one can freely access all functions eg. netflix, USB media player, remote screen etc.). The TV channels was a vast variety of (mostly HD) sat TV in various languages, and there were also numerous radio channels. The hassle free (no landing page) WIFI clocked at a steady 30/8 Mbps. Breakfast at a hour of one's choosing, was a typical cold buffet. But varied enough (including vegetarian meals). I didn't ask, but some products might be local. A nice addition was that there was no plastic. The cups for jams were edible. In the room, there were external roller blinds, the parking spaces were just outside the windows. No air conditioning, quiet rural neighbourhood (no crowing roosters, there might be rural smells). Be prepared to pay cash. Nearest supermarket is 10 km away, shops with shorter opening hours nearby. Just outside is a modern "bike pit-stop" with a public hotspot. 24h ATM round the corner. Observation Point Alpha 10 km away. All that for 2/3 of a price of ibis budget in medium German city. To sum up: the best cheap hotel I've been in. Will gladly stay there again.
Rooms clean, neat but with old equipment. Bathroom with a fairly cramped tub. Breakfasts without rave But there is something to eat. The kitchen also prepares other meals from the card. Good food, however, the portions are a bit too small. A bar in a nice atmosphere. Some rooms need renovation, some on the first floor after refurbishment in a cool style. Corridors and old creaking stairs. Generally for one night like this.
